We stayed in the Elgin for 3 nights in december 2010. It is a lovely place. The staff has a warm smile on their face that makes your day. The food is good and high quality arouses your taste buds. The rooms are well setup and maintained. The hotel lawn is a lovely place to spend your day at leisure. More

a classy elegant and quaint hotel with very polite staff....situated centrally and in a good location for shopping....all requests were promptly attended to...food was excellent and service was prompt and courteous.....I had a fireplace and heater going because it was very cold...internet facilities are available at a nominal charge after the first 30 minutes More

We enjoyed the beautiful colonial rooms (unfortunately without a view) and very comfortable ambience. Super bathroom and lots of hot water.
