I took a trip to Darjeeling from 14 Oct 11 to 15 Oct 11. We stayed in Hotel Amba Palace. The Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. It helped us by providing the dinner very late. This Hotel doesn't have its own kitchen but it has a restaurant where one can have food. The food is brought from adjoining restaurants. Double Bed room was charged for Rs.800/- and it is worth of it. I surveyed the other hotels before checking in this hotel. It was nice. The bedsheets, pillows and the blankets were neat and clean. The furniture etc were also shining. The other facilities provided in the room was quite appreciable. We took the room in basement and we never felt any uneasyness. It is worth visiting once again if anytime in future i visit Darjeeling.
