Tumsong has had very few tourists as yet, and we were treated as if we were very important tea buying clients of the estate, escorted everywhere by the charming Manager, taken on a tour of the spotless factory and on a glorious walk downhill through the estate to the banks of the river far below. “Experience was more like a home stay”

Having experienced Glenburn, our expectations of a tea retreat was a lot higher and Tumsong Tea Retreat was a disappointment. Food served while tasty was homely and ordinary compared to the gourmet experience that we had at Glenburn. Service was more like a home stay which was acceptable but for the price that we paid, it was expensive

“True heaven escape with breathtaking views”

We spent three nights the with three young kids and absolutely loved eve minute. The place is worth the three hours travel time from Bagdogra, West Bengal.
