Nice hotel. very conveniently located for shopping and travel. The feel is of the old houses is good. The rooms are good. But calls for some improvement. The staff is quite good, but the selection of their uniform does not give the fresh feeling. Overall value for money.

I stayed at the Vivanta a few times mainly on business trips. The hotel has this old world charm which I really love. The rooms are well laid out though I believe they could do up the accessories a bit. The only thing that bothered me is the excessive fumigation in the evenings.

This property is in centre of town, next to everything. Heritage property well maintained by Taj. Rooms are very nice, though the hotel layout is bit confusing due to historical reasons. Gym & swim quality are good. Restaurant is excellent. Service is what stood out... well done.

This is a reasonable international 3.5-4.0 star hotel from a sub brand of the Taj chain. It is no Taj in either room or restaurant but was perfectly adequate with all modern conveniences like safes and air conditioning. The building seems a bit tired but it is a perfectly comfortable hotel.
