Quite an unpleasant experience. Not recommended for families at all.
I had already informed them that I was to arrive there just for one day and one night "with family" as we had to catch our flight back to Pune at 5:00 AM on the 01-Jan-'12.
ADDRESS:
Firstly, they did not provide the complete address, which caused a lot of inconvenience to us in searching the place. The locality was too deep within some streets of Vadapalani.
Very difficult to find - even the Fasttrack cabs could not find it easily when they were coming to pick us up.
INCLUSIONS:
They had Breakfast complementary, however, since we reached there 8 hours late (due to delay in train due to Thane Cyclone in TN), they did not provide us even snacks even on request.
ROOMS:
Nice, clean, and decent-looking
EXPERIENCE WITH DRINKERS OUTSIDE OUR ROOM:
They had accommodated a lot of young guys, who had planned to party for the new year's eve with drinks...

Service apartments are becoming quite popular in South India. They are kind of like the extended stay hotels in America- but they dont have the "hotelish" atmosphere. I stayed at Apollo service apartments last month when I went to Chennai to attend my cousin sister's wedding.
First thing: here are the proper directions: Tell your driver or auto-rickshaw wall that you want to go Laxman Shruti in K.K.Nagar. This is a musical instrument shop. Next to it you will see an Apollo drug store or dentistry or something of that sort. Next to it there is a small gully. Its almost like a left U turn if you are driving on the road and have Laxman Shruti on the left. Go along this small road and take the second right turn. Apollo Service Apartments is a blue building at the end of the road.
Now about the rooms themselves: we had 2 rooms on the ground floor. Each had double beds, flat screen TVs and attached bathrooms with hot water. The air-conditioning was efficient...
