There are 5 Imperial hotels at the same place which are owned by one family. Acutally I didn't stay at Imperial Palace Hotel, but "Imperial Supreme". Before deciding my hotel, I checked most of them and compared the price,conditions of room etc...The prices were almost same but the conditions of rooms were so different, so I strongly recomend you to... We have always preferred hotels in Egmore rather than the overcrowded Chennai Central Station area. If you're looking for a hotel that's centrally situated, nothing beats the location of the Imperial Palace. Bang opposite Egmore station, this is one of the oldest hotels in the locality. Private transport options from here are plentiful be it chartered cabs or luxury buses.... More

This is close to Central station and conveniently located to railway and business class. We can go to anywhere from here easily....
