Awesome place and amazing hospitality. We were there for 3nights and four days..had a brilliant time. This is small compact fort with all the required amenities and was a good break from television for sure. They have given us a personalized attention and the arrangement on New Year Eve was superb. Food is authentic rajasthani and just loved it.

A photographer friend recommended this small fort converted into a hotel. We stayed two nights. A very heavy monsoon season had ended just days before so the 25km drive from the highway was very slow and bumpy. The hotel has a good swimming pool, very pleasant courtyards and arranges for visits to the local village to see craftspeople at work.... More

This was the first of six forts and palaces at which we stayed in Rajasthan all of which had been partially converted into hotels in recent years. Pachewargarh was one of the first in this group to have been converted, in 1997 I think, and, in some respects this shows. For example the loo cistern in our room was a... More

The outstanding feature of this hotel was the personal attention provided by the owners. It is a heritage property converted into a hotel, but needs a lot of maintenance which is obviously lacking. The food choices (no other place to eat but at the hotel) are limited and not up to the mark; in fact, one gets the impression they... More

This place brings you back to the old India and the time of the Maharajas. We had a great time in a unique place with warm hospitality.

This is an old fort converted into many rooms. Somewhat of a rabbit warren. The old parade ground is a garden and there are inside courtyards with a dining area off one of them. We liked the effort put into the decor and our beds were comfortable. Family run. No complaints about the food. Not suitable for very young children... More
