First stayed here in 2003 and its changed a lot since then - much bigger. Can say that was extremely happy with my room, nice and spacious. However the down side was that you got the noise from the restaurant in the morning so forget a sleep in. Was also noisy when at very stages firecrackers were going off -... More

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night during a tour through India with On The Go Tours (Travel Inn Tour Company). The hotel is well presented and has a pool, restaurant and nice garden areas to relax the afternoon away from the hustle and bustle of India! (+) Positives + The hotel has a great feel to it, a... This hotel was HORRIBLE including the very mean staff, nasty food, poorly designed rooms, everything! I can't remember one thing positive about this hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

The rooms were big, but FREEZING. It took the staff 3 hours to bring us a heater, and then the heater was the type that lights up the room like it's daytime, so we were unable to sleep, although we were warm. The breakfast and dinner are horrible -- I got food poisoning and had to miss our tour of... More

Stayed in the hotel for one night with a friend. A clean place and nicely furnished, with large room and bathroom but I will recommend all travelers to avoid room 109, where i stayed because thats right below the kitchen which is located on the first floor and trust me you cannot sleep. Complementry breakfast was good and so was... More

This could be a lovely hotel with some management changes. This hotel is only interested in tour groups. The reception staff were surly at best. On check in the reception staff were only just polite. I questioned a problem with the wifi I had bought [no fee wifii as in many hotels of this price range have] and they snapped... More

Indeed, very special is the city palace and the famous observatory. The rooms could be better, but the location was very nice and quiet. Service could be better.

I had read the comments before going there and was kind of expecting the worst, it was our second hotel on this trip to India after our terrible New Delhi experience, and we were gladilly suprised :) The staff was not arrogant nor ignoring, they were really nice (although the reception staff can seem a bit "careless" at times). But... More

Dear Guest, We are glad to know that you had a satisfying stay with us. Our food is definitely a strong point and we are happy to learn that you enjoyed our Indian restaurant. The pigeons above the pool are really a problem and we are trying our best to do something about it. More

Stayed here two nights as part of a small group (12 people) tour. Hotel quite well located about 500m from Chanderpol Gate and therefore a short tuk-tuk ride or 20 mins walk from the Observatory and City Palace Museum. Fairly quiet spot, but get a room as high and as far away from the road as possible! Mosque nearby will... More

The staff here are unhelpful at best, and the location is on the outskirts of the city. We were taken here after initially booking at hotel shappora, and this hotel is clearly inferior.

Dear Guest, we are sorry to learn that you were not happy with our hotel and found it located on the outskirts of the town.
