Elegant, stunning, peaceful, friendly efficient service, magical setting, luxurious suite, incredible halls and royal chambers, wonderful food… That's it. A high point of our 3 week trip round Rajasthan. A tip. There are two pools - the beautiful, mosaicked older pool and the tucked away smaller infinity pool. Find the infinity pool. It is like swimming on the mountainside -... more

The grand entrance was the perfect introduction to this most perfect hotel. A cool drink and a cold towel were provided as were checked in most pleasantly and showed to our large room overlooking the entrance to the hotel. The two swimming pools were pigeon-free and kept spotless, with the rooftop infinity pool having a great outlook. Everything seemed newly... more

The Samode palace is a magical palace on the hill overlooking a (rather too) clean village that caters to the hotel guests with high priced boutiques. The Palace is magnificent - especially at night when lit up by thousands of small lights, or better still the moon and fireworks. Rooms are impressive - but beware of finding yourself on the... more

That was our last stay during a 7-day trip around the Golden Triangle, on a way to Dehli airport, and was absolutely the best experience in India. Our driver brought us quite late to the hotel which is located in the middle of nowhere. We had deluxe or royal suites (do not remenber) on the top floor - very nice... more

The staff are exceptional, the food great and the palace its self was breath taking. We stayed in the royal suite with its private balcony and Jacuzzi. Everything was perfect and I recommend... more

Great expectations were not forthcoming with this visit. Many people had told me how wonderful this place was .... and we were very disappointed! We only stayed one night. The staff were not as friendly as most Indians at a 5-star establishment, and it was like they were doing us a favour to give us a room!! The rooms were... more

the samode palace is the best place to get married.it is one of the most beautiful palaces in rajasthan. Be prepared for a bit of heat during the afternoon and chilly night if your visit is during the winters. the staff is efficient, hardworking and will make the trip very relaxing. The 2 pools in the palace give beautiful views... more

We stayed in this hotel for only one night as part of our Golden Triangle trip to celebrate a special anniversary. It was recommended on Trip advisor and it has been one of the best recommendations that we have ever received. This hotel is breathtaking! We wanted a heritage hotel and got it. On arrival we were informed that we... more
