I and My husband travels to mumbai every year,and we stay only at neelkant as the room are very gud and the hospitality is so gud specially the front management GOOD.SPECIALLY MISHRA,PAWAN AND MUDAR.the hotel is located on the main road of the linking road.where shopping is very easy and in our budget.the food places are all gud specially only paratha restaurant which next to neelkant.than again mac donald is close to hotel walking distance also kfc.and also pizza hut.

I AN MY FAMILY WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. More

Knowing Mumbai quite well staying away from the south and the tourist crowd was quite important so I tried to find a good budget place in the suburbs. Located at Khar Linking Road, Mumbai's best road for shopping, Hotel Neelkanth was a basic but also very good option. For 2400 Rs plus tax (in 2008) you get a decent and clean double room with AC, phone and TV and attached bathroom with running hot water. The interior is cosy and in good state. The first night we stayed in a room with a very noisy AC but when complaining about this we were immidiately shifted to another room that was freshly painted and also much bigger and nicer furbished. Mumbai is always noisy and especially near main roads but for the loacation the noice level was absolutely ok.
To mention is the staff and the management. We were two girls traveling alone and felt very good taken care of. A male friend of us was refused to enter the hotel after we had moved in and had to wait in the lobby until we had dropped... More
