Apparently Bombays Hotel trade is on its knees since the terrorist attacks last year and its surprising that despite this getting a good deal and value hotel is really difficult. Given the ludicrously high prices of 4 and 5 star hotels in India, there is a huge demand for decent 3*. This example is a perfectly decent effort with a nice pool, friendly, helpful staff and a good pickup service to the airport. Bit it IS pretty basic, with fairly hard beds. Golden Manor has a wonderful location, on the famous Juhu Beach in Mumbai and close to some decent restaurants and 5-star hotels. The rooms are OK and better than what some other hotels rip-off at that price, given the room-shortage in India at this time. They have a nice swimming pool and gym and the food is quite good.
