“Dingy hotel but convenient location”

Kadamb Residency is placed at a great location for one who intends travelling / shopping around Mumbai. It is at the junction of Linking Road so most convenient for shopping. Cabs/Autos easily available all time around.

However the hotel itself was quite dark and dingy, service was average, no provision of food was made to us. I had to go out for food even though I was tired and didn;t want to move out. Fortunately food is never a problem around Bandra/Linking Road.

I would not recommend this hotel unless you are not intending to be in the hotel all day long and just expect to have a night's sleep there. More

“Decent and clean”

Though the reception area looks a bit off, being located in the verandah, the hotel itself is clean, decent, air-conditioned (window AC), decent rooms, clean bathrooms and more importantly located bang in the center of the shopping district. The hotel does not serve food, only breakfast but plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. KFC is opposite and McDonalds is downstairs. Good staff. Plus points - Owner keeps his collection of well maintained vintage cars in front of the hotel. More
