Centrally located, clean, modern, efficiently run, expensive. However, if you want to be a block away from the Gateway to India, boats to Elephanta Island, the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, and the myriad number of tourist attractions/museums/etc. in downtown Mumbai then this is the spot to stay and this is the price you have to pay.

We thought we were going to another "Apollo" Hotel but ended up booking here by accident. Fortunately it was only for one night. The location is good but the service and noise from the club is bad, especially for the price.

If you want to save some money and enjoy a better price/quality hotel, i suggest you go to the hotels directly next to the Taj Mahal Palace on the beach. First of all, you have better view there.
