I actually have no complaints about the hotel- the staff was really nice, the rooms were clean, the service was good. The restaurant was also good. The only downfall is that it is overpriced. The Parklane hotel down the road charges quite a bit less for the rooms- and it is a nicer hotel with a pool. I was disappointed... More

I have stayed in this hotel along with my wife. The room is very excellent and felt good to stay in the hotel. Rooms is very neat. Bathroom is maintained very well. I suggest this hotel for stay. We had breakfast in the morning. There is a buffet breakfast in that day. food is very good. Non A/c room is... More

This was probably the worst hotel that I stayed in in India - but by no means the cheapest. The first room I was shown was next to the kitchen exhaust fan and it sounded like a Boeing 747 flying over the room ... continuously. The room that I chose (out of desparation) was dingy and most unattractive. The advertised... More

A decent hotel to stay in the middle of the city. PROS : 1. Close to city center and the Mysore palace, train and bus stations easily accessible. 2. The food and service was good, though I didn't get south indian food for dinner, which was a let down. 3. The travel agency of the hotel was good and helpful... More

Overall room quality was decent. When we booked the room, we agreed the rate at Rs X, when I arrived at the hotel, there were no rooms available of type that I booked, so the person at desk offered me other room (upgrade) with same cost which was expected. As usual, at many hotels, you sign all documents and then... More

Located in central Mysore, the hotel is close to the bus station, as well as not far from Mysore Palace (the main cultural attraction in this city). The hotel is clean and modern. The rooms are pleasant, with AC, TV and good washrooms. The price for a double room (during the low-season) is around 1000/1200 rs per night. You just... More

This is pretty good value in the Rs1000 range. There was no AC, but we didn't really need it in August, and the staff sometimes blanked you when you walked out, but that's not such a big deal. However, the room was well-decorated in a moder style, bed was comfy, the road is pretty quiet at night, and it's a... More

Overnight stay at Maurya Residency. Had booked 2 non AC rooms through Inasra.com. No hassles. The hotel is located strategically in central Mysore nearby the palace. This gives a lot of transport options for tourists to get in/around Mysore. The rooms have a tired look and feel but are clean and spacious. Don't expect any view from the rooms except... More

I & my wife were coming back from ooty and stayed in this hotel for 1 night & a day enroute to bangalore. I made the reservations online. I was offered a good rate and discount as well. The best thing about this place is its location, it is right in front of the palace. You can see illuminated palace... More

We stayed at Maurya residency for 1 night. The rooms were nice but for plumbing. Infrastructure in toilets was lacking. Service was average with water not available in the room for considerable amount of time. We could get water only after repeated requests. Otherwise rooms were good. Overall OK experience for the rent we paid for one night.
