The hotel was overall ok, all common areas are well maintained and pleasing. Since this is one of the more expensive hotels in Mysore, I expected a bit more from the room as well. I had terrific, efficient check in and there were always staff members in the lobby available to help and to explain the hotel amenities. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is excellent. There is choice of eating locations, coffee shop, restaurant and pool side. I didn't try the pool side. This was one of a number of hotels we stayed in as part of a tour of South India, and certainly one of the better ones.

Hotel Sandesh, The Prince (my stay from 28th to 30th Feb.2012) is a good upmarket hotel with a good location. The service at the Multi-Cuisine Restaurant is ok. The food items do not get replenished quickly and they are not maintained very hot.

Good Hotel building and interior decor but needs bathroom fixtures replaced. Shower nozzles were clogged. Hot and Cold water system needs major repairing. We stayed here whilst doing a 1 month tour of India entirely on the rail network. It is a beautiful hotel but even better the staff are all amazingly friendly and welcoming. No request seems to be too much trouble for them. I was feeling unwell whilst there and they were so attentive and caring that I was truly overwhelmed.
