The taxi takes 120 rupees to take you to this hotel from the Shimla Railway station. The hotel is approachable from the road and you don't need to lug your baggage a long way up, maximum 15 stairs. The reception checks you in. The rooms are good and I will say worth the money as it is a tourist spot... More

We visited on 13 Aug 2011 to this hotel. Its approx 2 km from Mall road. Hotel is bit older with average interior, fittings and amenities. However, the cleanliness was good. Service was good and helpful behavior of staff. No restaurant but food available at room. Food quality was average. Hot water was available. It was good for one night... More

this hotel names "hotel blue diamond" gained advantage because it is located on road plane, however in shimla for everything you have to climb up by walk(only) for about 30 min. for children and aged people it is difficult to climb up.
