Great service and very helpful, felt very well looked after. There are noisy dogs in the area as mentioned in other reviews but they're not always a problem and if you have earplugs (which is a good idea for anywhere in India really) they're no problem at all. More

Our visit to India was the last leg of a round the world trip lasting 19 weeks. We wanted somewhere different from ther normal hotels and came accross the excellent reviews for Orchid Retreat by complete accident whilst looking through tripadvisor. To try to cut a long review short, Orchid Retreat, Mr Kumar and his 'family' are everything previous reviewers... More

We chose this homestay from excellent reviews on trip advisor and felt that our experience mirrored the reviews. From the moment we arrived in the homestay at 6am we were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble. Mr Koumar the owner offered good advice regarding local places of interest and beauty and recommendatons for places to eat without... More

I could not have asked for a better hotel to stay at, I loved every minute of my stay. It was like a safe haven after touring. I left for 5 days and could'nt wait to get back for another 2 days. After a train trip to Amristar for 3 days it was a pleasure to return to my home... More

In 10 visits to Delhi we have never experienced a level of service as high as that at Orchid Retreat. Mr Kumar is an exceptional host and his staff very competent and pleasant. Our bedroom was spacious and well decorated; the bed-linen was first class and the towels soft and fluffy. The attached bathroom was well appointed and scrupulously clean.... More

We had 2 days in Delhi at the end of our trip and were pretty travel weary. Kumar made us feel so welcome and at home at his place. He treated us like family and his staff was great. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and the shower had good hot water all day. We feasted on great food, all thoughtfully... More

Delhi now has a great many places labeling themselves as BnBs, but Orchid Retreat is one the few that truly lives up to the definition. It's a calm retreat in Delhi's hurly-burly: spotless rooms, a gentleman for a host, an elegant decor, courteous but not servile staff, first-world bathrooms, and a secure neighborhood. This being India, I heard nocturnal nocturnes... More

After two chaotic and intense weeks in the holy city of Varanasi we arrived to Orchid Retreat in Delhi. Though Varanasi will always have a certain place in my heart, I was more than pleased to find myself in Orchid Retreat, where there is peace, clean and spacious room with bathroom and everything you possibly need during your stay, that... Mr Kumar was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Organised our pick up from the airport on arrival in India, and also helped us organise our Golden Triangle tour. Great place to stay, very clean with great rooms. More
