- Perfect Hotel New Delhi

Was very weary after reading the previous coments, but was surprise as we walked in the hotel it smelt clean, the rooms were clean and the staff friendly and the location is good.
I stayed at the Hotel Perfect in March, as the intrepid tour started here, otherwise i wouldn't have. Prior to trip starting I actually stayed at the Wood Castle after reading reviews on Hotel Perfect. The trip advisor review on Wood castle was very accurate and i would recommend staying there instead. Hotel Perfect Air conditioning was non existent, bathrooms...

A small enterance and basic service front desk, great use of computers with free WIFI. Great rooms, lovely bedding and lots of space but bathrooms let it down! Such a shame old bathrooms with lovely rooms! Roof terrace is great place to relax after a busy day.
We stayed on two occasions in March and on both occasions had a very good stay. We were very apprehensive prior to arriving due to the reviews. However, our room was clean, the location is good, and the staff were always very helpful with everything.

Quite a basic hotel but not too bad by Indian standards. Our room had no window so we awoke at 7:30am to complete blackness. It was strange but at least we slept ok and the lack of ventilation might have made the room musty but at least it kept the stench of Delhi outside.
The bathroom was functional and room...

The room was quiet, had TV, but the towels and bedlinen didn't "look" particularly clean but were (I grew to learn that this is sometimes the standard of linen in...

I'm writing this at the end of a trip around India, just to try and separate hotel experience from the general culture shock... Karol-Bagh is hectic and potentially intimidating on first sight, but I found the hotel to be ina reasonable area- close to metro (which is very good and also has women-only carriages if you travelling alone like I...
