This was our final night in India before flying home. The hotel is close to the airport and convenient from that perspective. Staff very friendly and helpful. Internet free if you have your own laptop except the connection was spotty. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed except for one major concern. The electrical system is in dire need... Stayed here overnight before a flight back to the U.S. My guide warned me it was 2 or 3-star, and not at the level of the hotels I'd been staying at (mostly Trident, Taj Residency and Gateway). I was delightfully surprised that the hotel was clean, quiet, and well-managed. Staff were helpful and polite. Furnishings were in mahogany colored wood... More

This was such a nice property. The owner chatted with us like we were friends. The front desk staff dealt with a dispute we had with the taxi in a very professional manner. (* See beware notice of taxiing below.) The property itself was very nice. The grounds were well kept and impressive. The rooms were just a very little... More

We stayed here for three separate nights as a starting point for trips to two different parts of northern India. It's biggest advantage is its relative closeness to the airport. The grounds and buildings are O.K. and customer service is good. On one of the stays we were given a room which smelt of tobacco. When I complained, we were... More

This was a good 3 star hotel - very clean - helpful staff - garden well maintained - food average. Good rooms for a 3 star.

It is really just a one night airport stop-over place and as such is adequate, but the name 'Country Resort' is somewhat misleading. Agree with other reviews regarding the musty smell which is off-putting. Not somewhere you would want to linger in.

Surprisingly quiet for a hotel so near the airport. Rather a dated 'colonial' feel to it, but clean and comfortable though I agree with another reviewer that the reception area smelled musty. Not a 'resort' but an oasis of calm before or after a hectic tour. Front desk helpful and efficient. A very long way from town.

Rooms are dirty, damp and smelly. Windows don't close properly alowing mosquitos to enter. The location is only good for the airport, the hotel is between 30 minutes and 1 hour from centre of New Delhi.

We stayed here on our first night and again on our final night of a 'golden triangle' tour. Upon arrival, we were impressed by the neat grounds and lovely pool, but thought that the sitting room where we were welcomed and allocated keys was rather musty. However, our first room, on the ground floor, was clean and perfectly acceptable, and... More

We stayed in this hotel for a total of three nights during November. My overall impression was that the best things about the hotel are the breakfast buffet which was not bad and the marble staircase in the entrance. Otherwise this is a poor hotel - it is dirty - the towels are grey and stained as are the furniture... More
