Best to be avoided if you can find another place to stay in the Capital. Though this is a government property, yet poorly maintained, untidy, lousy place needs good maintenance and professional approach. The charges are exorbitant with no value for money. The quality of food is below average.

Old facility that needs refreshing. But rooms are clean. It is very well situated in central Delhi. Ratio quality/price ok for central Delhi.

I visited Hotel Samrat to attend a conference in Jan. 2011. It was an amazing experience at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and cooperative. The lobby looks very vibrant , comfy rooms and best of restaurants - LaP , Shiroo and Chakras serving sumptuous delicacies. I must say that it was a memorable stay.

Last month i went to Delhi for a business trip and i stayed there for three days in hotel Samrat. It has good infrastructure and location. I enjoyed my three days there a lot. everything was great in this hotel.
