First off, it's not really easy to find on your own as it's located on one of the small streets inside paharganj, close to main bazar. The guys on the reception don't speak good English and also are not really helpful and friendly -I saw them also hitting dogs :( It's cheap, but don't expect the room & bathroom to... More

The plus side to this place is that it is conveniently located just off the Main Bazaar on Paharganj. The downside is the place is a dump. By the time I'd gotten here I'd been back-packing in India for three months, and this place takes the cake for being the grossest. The sheet on the bed appeared clean, but as... More

After seeing the rooms we just run away. Looking for a triplle room we had a few choises. First one (550rs) was realy not clean at all. Bathroom was one of the worst i have seen in 6 weeks India. Bedsheets were full of stains and so on. Smelly. Second one (650rs) had one double bed and a little couch.... More

So you come to India, dirty noisy full of crazy Indian/foreigner Delhi of all places most probably because you are passing through it on your way to other places like me, and looking for a cheap stay. Well, you found your self one. Room's decent enough, if you're the ones who wants clean sheets and clean bathroom with cheap price,... More

SUMMARY Fifteen years ago this hotel was perhaps a reasonable choice but things have changed. I stayed at this hotel fifteen years ago and again just recently and can tell you that no renovations have been done in fifteen years. Not Recommended INTRODUCTION Over the years I've stayed at many hotels in India, including the Namaskar. My first stay there... More

Namaskar is good for the price you pay. Close to all, including the train station and metro, and the 2 brothers have all the answers at your questions. The rooms are different so look and make your choice. They are average, sometime going down with Indian cleanness. Bed are comfortable and the staff is nice

We booked a room in this guesthouse, got a re-confirmation on the same day, even a late check-out was possible. But when we arrived at midnight, the said they were full. Our names were on the list, but they sent us to another horrible place, wich they said had the same owner. No water, extremely dirty, toilet full of vommit..... More

I stayed here with friends twice in 1994 and 1996 so on my return to India with my BF I booked it more out of nostalgia than any expectation that it would be a top pick. It's down a small alleyway on Paharganj with urinals at the end which is less than charming but amusing if you like that Delhi-weirdness.... More

First, let's be clear: Namaskar is kinda dirty, and the rooms aren't particularly spacious or comfortable. However, they're not particularly grotty, either, and there's nothing dodgy or unsafe about the place. The front desk staff are kind and generally helpful. The rooms are cheap -- for the price (Rs400 for a tiny single, Rs600 for a small double) you get... More

I mostly fall on falangsabai's side in my opinion of Hotel Namaskar. Stayed here a total of four nights, three for Delhi, one for transit out of Rajasthan. Accommodation in Delhi is expensive, and I wanted to put my money elsewhere. I got exactly what I thought I was getting, and had no service (i.e., bait-and-switch) issues at all. But,... More
