This hotel is beautiful, like walking into a colonial era. The food was fabulous, the rooms were really comfortable, the staff were really friendly. The only negative was the checking in experience which did take a little time. I did not mind this at all, but it would have been nice to have been shown somewhere to sit and possibly... More

I spent just two nights in the Imperial during a recent work trip... I didn't have any time for sightseeing, but was grateful for my one free evening during which I was able to enjoy a fantastic massage in the hotel spa and a wonderful dinner at the hotel's Spice Route restaurant. Those were both highlights of my brief visit... More

This is a wonderful hotel - everything you'd expect from a superb 5 star property - just be advised that they are building a new subway just at the entrance to the hotel. They work all night so don't accept a room at the front of the building - unless noise doesn't bother you. More

I'll be honest: We didn't fork over the $2000 per night to stay at this hotel, but we did have afternoon tea, cocktails, and dinner here. The property is magnificent, it actually feels more like a museum than a hotel in some ways. Sitting in the atrium having afternoon day is a great break from the hustle and bustle of... More

Luxe British Raj influenced 1930's Art Deco gem tucked away off the hustle & bustle of Janpath & Connaught Place. Impeccable service, amazing art deco antique furniture and walls lined with hundreds of years of Indo-British history. A fascinating step back in time with all the modern 5Star touches you would expect. Highly recommended! *our only criticism would be their... More

I have travelled to over 100 countries and have had the privilege of staying in many 5 star hotels, but, I have never stayed at a hotel with the excellence of service such as the Imperial in New Delhi. From the moment your car pulls up to the front door you are greeted with a warm "welcome home" throughout your... More

This was one of my favorite hotels during my India visit. The hotel is beautiful inside with all the nice paintings and also the decor itself was nice. The hotel had a lot of restaurants to choose, which was nice. Spicy Route was definately my favorite restaurant in this hotel. The rooms smelled a little weird though, but you got... More

The Imperial is beautiful and finely restored. The staff are very helpful in helping book travel arrangements and for advice about local attractions. The property is fantastically maintained (make sure to partake of the heated pool) and nestled well away from the bustle of the main road. The buffet breakfast was superb but the highlight of the cuisine is the... More

The imperial is my favorite hotel. Starting with the location at the center of Lutyens Delhi, the art deco exterior is just different from the usual glass and chrome vistas we are used to these days. Every colonial hotel has rich history attached to it, which is what draws you to the experience in the first place. However the Imperial... More

Stayed 2 nights . The hotel provides a great colonial experience : great restaurants in a nice setting; especially the Spice Route , one of the top restaurants in the city. Beautyfull swimming pool and spa. Rooms are a bit basic for this luxury hotel. Good location from where you can easily reach the major sights in New Dehli, however... More
