5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 June 2012 NEW

We stayed five nights in one of the beach bungalows, Pelicano. We allowed enough time for lazing around reading and for bad weather as well as to participate in activities/excursions. The excursions were all really excellent. Zapatillos beach was idyllic. Mangrove snorkeling was some of the best we have done anywhere and is not to be missed!!! Though we did... More

This was the first trip my husband and I have taken just the two of us since we had our son two and a half years ago and we could not have picked a better spot. It's like living in a postcard. I love that the beach and ocean are in your front yard and the rainforest is in your... More

My wife and two kids could not stop talking about Casa Cayuco after we returned to Brooklyn. Sandwiched between the dense rainforest and the gentle Carribean waters of Panama's archipelago, Casa Cayuco is a small, friendly, community consisting of three cabins plus a main lodge where dinner is served at a large banquet table to all the guests. After one... More

Everything about this resort was perfect! Perfect island. Perfect beach. Perfect size - only a max of 15 people can stay there. Perfect room - we stayed in the Pelicano right next to the beach. It's totally open air - even your shower! Perfect food - Sue is an amazing chef and she cooks locally sourced food for you every... More

When we arrived at Casa Cayuca we had no idea just how wonderful and memorable our stay was going to be. Our hosts Sue and Lloyd were so warm, helpful, and fun. We stayed in the Pelicano cabin which was right on their beautiful beach. Every day we were served delicious meals and the cocktails were out of this world.... More

My husband and I chose a trip to Panama to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Based on reviews on Trip Advisor, we chose to stay at Casa Cayuco. I can't say enough about this wonderful eco lodge. Casa Cayuco provides transportation from Bocas Town to the island on their boat. The grounds are beautiful, right on the beach but also... More

From a 11-year-old girl: If you're looking for a place with nice people(Sue and Lloyd), good food, the best stars you've ever seen, beautiful sunsets, adventure, and much, much more fun this is the place for you. My experience at Casa Cayuco was one of the best vacations I ever had. We were in a rainforest cabin about 2 meters... More

I absolutely agree with Moraga Traveler's review although I don't think any review could do Lloyd and Sue the justice they deserve. Casa Cayuco is far and away the best place my husband and I have ever stayed. We stayed in Tortuga which was ocean front. The cabin and and view were incredible. Even the jungle side cottage, Coco, is... More

We are a married couple who spent three glorious days at Casa Cayuco, which is located on Isla Bastimentos in Bocas del Toro, Panama. We had spent a 10 day vacation in Panama and our stay at Casa Cayuco was absolutely the highlight of our trip. Casa Cayuco is gorgeous and Lloyd and Sue are the best hosts ever! Lloyd... More

Went with our family of 4 - two boys 8 and 12 - we got lucky with absolutely great weather. The beach and the covered dock are wonderful - hammocks to lounge on and plenty of shade. The water is calm and there is great snorkeling just offshore, conditions permitting. There is a great sandbar less than 50 meters offshore,... More
