When I booked Skylight, I thought it was a traditional homestay (minsu). However, it was more like a boutique hotel. Decor is modern and facilities are comparable to a 5* hotel. This is a great place to stay in Ita Thao, which is on the southern side of Sun Moon Lake. The rooms are spotless, the breakfast is great, the location is perfect, the staff is wonderful. “Best B&B I ever stayed”

We stayed in family room on 6th floor, no climbing needed as lift is available. Room is better than expected, fitted with high tech panel touch sensor for TV, Aircon and Lightings for different ambience. Best feature has to be the sunken stone bath tub just like a mini steam bath, kids thoroughly enjoy soaking for hours. Beds are huge... More

A small hotel with modern facilities, good location and excellent service. Good view of the lake from room as well as breakfast area. Would love to stay there agin.
