Room somewhat away from main building and very tired looking - certainly in need of some renovation. Dinner was the most expensive we had in our 3 week travel to Sri Lanka and the food was very ordinary.

Sigiriya was one of the highlights of our 12-day trip to Sri Lanka. Wadula is conveniently located in a shady grove ~ 10 min bike ride from Sigiriya Rock and close to Dambulla. Wadula offers excellent value budget accommodations with simple, comfortable rooms on a very quiet, peaceful wooded site. Excellent location for visiting Sigiriya Rock & Dambulla as well as the other Cultural Triangle sites. I found the staff to be extremely pleasant & helpful. The food was excellent & good value too. I would definitely like to come back!

Hotel Wadula is a no-frills place near Sigiriya Rock. It is by no means close, so you will have to take a rikshaw to get there.
