We spent one night here and had lunch and diner as well. Decent food and service, although that large flat screen tv was annoying. Friendly staff, comfy beds, good fan and a/c. Very nice and brand new pool. Bikes on hire.

Stayed for 2 nights. AC broke down (or was switched off) during the night. Pool was unusable (due to electrical problems, I was told). Staff somewhat surly and a little bit uncooperative. Food at the restaurant average at best.

We stayed here for only one night to look at the sacred city. The rooms look like they've been recently renovated, and they were the cleanest we've seen on our two-week trip to the country. Staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English. Overall we left completely satisfied.

The place itself is rather OKish. Basic, but the rooms and service reflect the price. However, the restaurant is one of the worst I have eaten at in the whole Sri Lanka, my 8 yo niece cooks better for her dolls.
