MPS was a little gem, service was impressive, room rate very reasonable and room itself lovely. Good air con, no insects in room and comfortable bed. You are a little isolated, but to be honest that is not a bad thing, it probably enhances the place. You will not be disappointed if you stay here, the food is good and... More

MPS is an idyllic place away from all the irritations of traffic in Sri Lanka. There is an amazing pool to cool off in, as SL is extremely hot - you will sweat constantly. The food is acceptable; the fruit supplied with meals is fresh and has so much more taste than the North American versions. The rooms are very... More

MPS The four of us stayed 2 nights at the MPS. The "deluxe twin" we stayed are about 16 sqm with attached bathroom, and a big balcony (8 sqm.) overlooking the lake. Though the room are quite basic (we didn't have a chance to see their new "super deluxe rooms) - 2 small twin beds, a cloth hanger, a night table,... More

We were spoiled every day by the friendly, helpful staff....looked forward to the fancy bed arrangements, the relaxing pool, the delicious meals on the balcony and the views from our patios. This place has everything!

We stayed in this hotel for the first 3 nights of our tour with Sammy, The small sign at the side of the road, MPS Village, made us wonder, never having been to this country before, we did not know what to expect. No need to worry though. The chalet style rooms are good, with an outside veranda overlooking the... More

Every morning for two weeks I was totally spoiled by the staff at this hotel. The pool is clean and comfortable, the view is not to be believed. in the morning, have breakfast on the porch and treat yourself to some spectacular bird watching. Egrets! Peacocks! The kitchen staff know what they're doing, too. Man was I well-fed. You are... More

Stayed for 2weeks at this place. Was doing a 2week program for Habitat For Humanity and was booked at this hotel. It is indeed a super relaxing place to stay at especially for 2 whole weeks. MPS Village is by the lake, with an infinity pool, a cricket field and beautiful landscape. All sorts of animal sounds were heard, there... More

We had the pleasure in being part of a group of 12 that stayed for two weeks on a Habitat for Humanity Build. The staff is most wonderful and helpful. They sincerely desired to meet our dietary wants and pleasure needs, celebrating with a bar-b-que our last evening. This place was such a haven to come and relax after a... More

We stayed in this hotel for one night only. This property is not in Dambulla, but something like 10km from it on the shore of beatifull lake. In lake you can see monitors and variety of birds. We used this hotel as HQ for morning trip to Sigiria and it was very good idea. We arrived around noon and go... More

A very helpful manager who arranged for us to try all manner of sri lankan foods. Peaceful and lovely surrounding. Most of all we loved the pool and watching the bird life.
