Interesting place... Manmade oasis. Sandboarding and sand-dune Buggy rides are action packed. The rest of the oasis slow... Watch out for food. Had a vegetarian dish with mushrooms and got some kind of thing from it. Otherwise, ok standard. Not more. Not less.

There is no doubt that the Hotel Mossone has seen better days. They were probably in the Forties, which is when most of the decor seems to date from. I'll agree with previous reviewers that the decor of the rooms is more likely to be found in monastary cells, but the rooms/bathrooms are spacious and quite charming! The hotel is very calm and the service is great. The restaurant’s food is very good, the pool is clean, and overall my stay was wonderful. The only downside was the high price.

This hotel is converted from an old hacienda and has an enormous courtyard onto which all the rooms have access. Next to a lake and surrounded by giant sand dunes.

The hotel retains it's historical feel. Romms are large and roomy, clean with no frills. The atmosphere is wonderful, very tranquil inside and outside the hotel.
