We spend two night in Maison Merzouga last October and it was wonderful. The food was delicious, the trip to the desert very enjoyable and the hospitality of Ali and his brothers was very warming. Definately THE place to go when you visit Erg Chebbi. Anna Floor & Paul more

We stayed in Maison Merzouga for three nights and found it to be one of the highlights of our time spent in Morocco. The en suite rooms were immaculate with air conditioning, and meals around the central courtyard were always a treat. Our host went far beyond his call of duty to provide whatever we needed and became more of... more

My wife and I fell upon this charming guest house during our visit to Erg Chebbi. Only positives to be said about the hospitality, accomodation and help we received during our one night stay. Would highly recommend it to anybody wanting to combine the Saharah on their doorstep with a relaxing, luxurious and friendly homestay . more

We stayed at this guest house two nights. First night we spent in the berber tents in the middle of the dunes after 1h30 of camel safari. The day after we went around the entire desert on a 4x4 jeep having the chance to explore the different parts of the desert. All this was organized by the Seggaoui family who... more

Stayed here for two nights, one in the guest house and one in the desert tent after a camel ride. The Guest House is family run, very friendly and well organised. Ali took us round the village and was interesting and informative about a multitude of subjects. He speaks very good English. Food was excellent, room large, clean and comfortable.... more

We had booked to take a camel ride into the desert and camp overnight so we did not actually spend the night in the guest house but we wish we could have had an extra day to spend here. We arrived from Todra Gorge with our car and french speaking driver and as my french is very basic it was... more

My teenaged daughter and I spent a night in the Sahara through the auspices of the Guest House Merzouga (also known as Maison Merzouga), and it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our riad in Marrakesh (the Riad Kniza - highly recommended!!) booked our four-day trip from Marrakesh through the High Atlas Mountains to the Sahara and back, and they arranged our... more
