This guest house was the most hospitable place we stayed in all of Morocco. The room was clean and comfortable, the water was ample and warm, the food was delicious, the common areas were warm, inviting and had wi-fi. Best of all were the staff/owners. They were welcoming, helpful, informative and a whole lot of fun. We LOVED this place! more

The two berber brother, Ali and Hassan, who manage the guest house definitely knows the meaning of hospitality. Rooms big and clean, good food and free internet say it all! There is also a mini-hamman (but a little expensive!)... Ask them for hiking in the desert (better with the camel that with the jeep). Prices are average. Recommended! more

Ali, Said and Husan are excellent and multilingual hosts. They make you feel welcome as soon as you step over the threshold and nothing is too much trouble. They have a wealth of knowledge that they are only to happy to share and spend time with all their guests in the evening ensuring everyone has had a good time and... more

Ali and his family were the most wonderful hosts to our days in the Southern Sahara--despite never actually meeting his wife, my boyfriend and I spent hours with him and his sons, learning about Bedouin culture, Moroccan history, eating delicious home cooked meals, hearing wonderfully interesting stories about life in the desert, and enjoying our spacious, light, clean, pretty, romantic... more

Among all the places we've staid in Marroco, the Guest House Merzouga was our best choice. It is a charming place where the owner demonstrates very well the hospitality of the South People. The service if of first quality and the personnel always helpful. The rooms are big, very clean as the rest of the hotel and all this for... more

We stayed in Maison Merzouga for three nights and found it to be one of the highlights of our time spent in Morocco. The en suite rooms were immaculate with air conditioning, and meals around the central courtyard were always a treat. Our host went far beyond his call of duty to provide whatever we needed and became more of... more

My wife and I fell upon this charming guest house during our visit to Erg Chebbi. Only positives to be said about the hospitality, accomodation and help we received during our one night stay. Would highly recommend it to anybody wanting to combine the Saharah on their doorstep with a relaxing, luxurious and friendly homestay . more
