Our 5th destination on mine and my boyfriends Moroccan adventure! We only found this hotel on our second day in Chefchaouen as we had arrived too late the previous night to go searching - and we were disappointed that we lost a night that could have been spent in this charming hotel! The had the large room, which is very... More

The Dar Mounir Hotel is right in the middle of Chechauen, this picturesque and pretty village in the Rif Mountains. It is a family business. The short walk from where you park the hotel, which is of course, painted blue, like most of the houses, is beautiful in itself and you have the feeling you are entering something real and... More

When we arrived, we had to look for accommodation, as our hotel told us they had given our room to someone else(!) At Dar Mounir they were very nice. We saw on internet that it was slightly more expensive than our hotel and they let us stay for the same price. Staff was very friendly and rooms were warm and... More

This was the first town I stayed in while in Morrocco and it set a very high standard. Apart from the hotel being absolutely beautiful, with well appointed rooms and a lovely terrace for our use in the evenings, the staff were brilliant. My Visa card was eaten up on the last morning I was in Chefchaouen. I was quite... More

The leaking shower was like a Chinese torture - we couldn't sleep. The hotel is in the center of medina, no road access, parking on the main street, you need to pay self-proclaimed guard. The hotel guy helped my wife with her luggage, but one way only. Actually, the location is nice, but it was very difficult to find them... More

We stayed here with our two children for 2 nights. The hotel is in the centre of the village so ideal for exploring, and the staff were very helpful. The owner also owns a cafe on the corner of the main square. I asked where I could buy the traditional 'pasteles' or 'b'steeya's', he had his mother make some up... More

This hotel is in a great location, right near the main square with good restaurants and shopping only a minute away. The waterfall is also only a 5-10 minute walk - uphill, of course, but well worth it. The rooms are immaculate - not very big, but they have everything you need, including air conditioning and free wifi, beautifully decorated... More

I stayed there for one night. The location is very good, just next to the Medina and the main square. There are some restaurants in the neighborhood. The room was lovely furnished and comfortable. The hotel has great roof terrace. Breakfast was excellent in our opinion. The service staff are great and helpful, not speaking English well though (but we... More

The staff are wonderful and relaxed. We didn't know if we wanted to stay an extra night or not and ended up checking out at 4PM, after they'd already cleaned the room and they were completely friendly and terrific. The rooms were charming and comfortable. The bathrooms are new and stylish and classy. The rooftop terrace and breakfast were the... More

We visited during winter thus it was cold and rainy. The staff said the heating radiator would be turned on at night but it was not. Thus, we had to sleep in a freezing temperature and the blankets were certainly not sufficient. That said, the housekeeping service was good as the housekeeping women cleaned our room to a good condition.... More
