we stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. you have clean and tropical beach, can go snorkling direct from the beach and have a beautiful garden setting - so all we wanted for the break on our roundtrip in Western Malaysia. as many others complain, we also didn't get the reason why this is 5-star rated. but as 4-star-resort...

The room is small but nicely decorated, bed is very comfortable, love the Jacuzzi, but …. It’s a little old, tired and lack of maintenance.
The chef is very good, but …..Menu’s choice is very very limited, and worst is, not all items listed in the menu are available. Ask the chef for something off the menu, his curry is...

Staff alone would bring me back, that and the gorgeous beach. Rooms were ok, a little old and tired, could use renovating and the menu was not great. But the chef was willing and able to cook anything upon request and did so very enthusiastically and ably. The bartender/doctor attended to us brilliantly drinks wise as well as when I...

Having read some of the reviews of the hotel on this site and others, we were a little apprehensive before we arrived but we need not of feared at all. I feel many of the critical reviewers have missed the point - this is a very Malaysian, laid back hotel on a beautiful unspoilt island. It does not pretend to...

Pros
- Exclusive location - there were very few people around, and we pretty much had the entire location to ourselves for half our 1 week stay here.
- Hotel of a fairly good standard, but do not expect international standards here.
- The corals around the hotels beach surpassed my expectations,...

I recently stayed for a week at the Sari Pacifica in Lang Tengah and have to say it was a stay with mixed feelings. First of of all lets start with the good. Lang Tengah is a beautiful island and I have to say it was very easy to get to. Just a quick flight from KL to Terengganu with...

Sari Pacifica is far from a 5-star hotel, and is fairly overpriced considering the (lack of) facilities available. However the location and the staff were fantastic, and we very much enjoyed our 7-night stay.
The menu is disappointing, mostly consisting of pizza, pasta, and frozen western style meals, but when we asked them the chef made a delicious malay chicken...

I spent 4 days and 3 nights at the hotel. By the end of my trip, I was sad to leave and wish I could stay longer.
The definite plus points for this hotel are its private stretch of beach, low density chalet-styled accommodation with patio and friendly staff.
The beach is definitely one of the best I've seen and...
