The purpose of my six day stay here was simply to dive and unwind and Lankayan was perfect for that, I really enjoyed the relaxed and laid back vibe. We spent two nights here and didn't want to leave! The weather was perfect while we were there so blue skies, white sandy beaches, clear water with tropical fish visible, turtles nesting.... Truly idyllic surroundings and and nice wooden cabins right on the beach (if a little close together). Despite the lovely friendly staff, the whole 'luxury resort' theme is spoiled by a lack of comfortable seating/sun longers (ie all hard wood with no cushions) and quite limited buffet for meals.
