The pool with the slide was a hit with the kids, and the setting of the hotel is lovely; very green and quiet. The rooms might be a little dated for some, but are large and comfortable. nothing much to say, 2 nights stay..the room was ok for me, however the service and the staff especially at the front desk - very poor!for muslim travelers, please do not forget to bring your 'telekung' because this hotel cannot provide it for you..not even one..thank you,

Stayed here for 3 days during our honeymooon, but is good for couples or families. This hotel has the potential to be excellent, but needs some work, mainly due to tiredness. This is a great hotel. Unlike some others, the air and water are clean, and the lobby and surrounds do not smell of cigarettes and cheap floor polish. It has great ambience. We stayed here two nights in the end, one was unplanned when we made a hasty exit from Libaran Island. For us it was mainly a staging post to other places - to explore the turtle islands and then as an overnight before leaving for Sukau. We visited Sandakan to see the Orangutans, probiscus monkeys and the War memorial park. We saw all of the above in a day trip organised through the hotel and were very satisfied.
