4 of us stayed from 26-28 Jan 2012. We stayed at the Deluxe suite for 4 persons. The resort is more popular with local tourists. The Suite had a very beautiful sea view and interior, with open air shower and bubble bath. Our unit was clean. Staff friendly and efficient. Food prices reasonable. Swimming pool dirty and water murky. Nobody... More

1) Date of stay: June 2011, 3D2N stay. Took a ferry down from Tg Gemok (2 hr ferry ride) 2) Room: Standard room with basic amenities. Stayed near the pond area. Bring along your own mosquito coils if you are sensitive to insect bites. Quite a good view of koi fishes at your balcony. Theres many monkeys around. So do... More

an isolated island is within a walking distance, you can find live corals and lotsa beautiful fishes swimming around! this is a must do activities- snorkelling when u reach paya beach! also there is a small rock fall behind the Tioman Paya Resort, if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing beach holiday, this could be your best choice! :)... We have stayed in Tioman Beach Resort for more than 8 times and have tried all types of room that are available in this resort including the spa facilities... My sincere comments are the services and several other things that Paya Beach Resort management should improve in order to continue survive, which, can give good example to the customers either... We went the first week of June hols 2011. Expect the ferry to be an hour late for both ways. They say its quite normal for thattime of year. Booked the Deluxe Chalet which was right at the beach so the kids went to the beach first thing in the morn. Even saw reef sharks just snorkelling off the beach.... More

No better no worse!!! Do not book the cheaper room which are surrounded by a filthy pound. Food at restaurant was terrible so I wouldn't book the package if I was to go back. A few other good places to eat at Paya. Service was friendly but not very efficient, they failed to provide a transfer we had booked a... More

Apart from the snorkelling which is great right in front of the resort, this place is BAD! The service is poor, the rooms are outdated and housekeeping only cleans it once in a while. There are so many flies and mosquitoes around, you almost need to walk around with a mosquito net around your body. The first night, at around... More

Stayed at Paya Beach resort during the SG Jun Holidays and booked the superior chalet package for my family of 4 which includes ferry, snorkelling, bfast, lunch and dinner. Room was ok, double bed with a pull out sofa bed. Relatively clean for a beach location. Very good airconditioning which was a great respite from the heat. Toilets were clean.... More
