I had the pleasure of visiting this lodge & sanctuary on my recent trip. It was a wonderfule respite from the mayhem that is now the Mombasa-Nairobi road. The sanctuary is crammed with game including elephant, buffalo, lion, lesser kudu, grants gazelle, impala, oryx, gerenuk. The bird life is also incredible and I spent some very productive hours birding. The... More

We were lucky enough to be there when the owner was there but I am sure the quality of service and staff would have been just as good if... More

Did a 1 night / 2 day safari to Ngutuni with simo special safaris (http://www.simokenya-safaris.com http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g294210-d2064032-r120454890-Simo_Kenya_Safaris_Day_Tours-Mombasa.html) from Mombasa and everything worked out great ! Ngutuni is just next to the Tsavo East park, and has all the same animals in much smaller area, which is convenient for a short trip. Also you avoid the expensive park fees that KWS charges.... More

Wow, how often can you spend your meal with elephants drinking in front of you? While this lodge is limited in its choice of food , what they do serve is of the highest quality ................the staff are charming, the location brilliant . Watch out for and listen out for the elephants eating the trees just outside reception after dark... More

A beautiful location and an excellent place to stay made our first safari a great experience. The rooms were clean and the staff looked after us well, we asked for mosquito nets and they were put up immediately. The food was good.
