This is a great lodge with excellent service that is unfortunately hurt by the rules of Nakuru National park that state that entry fees are for 24 hours continuous stay in the park. Therefore, if you arrive in the afternoon of day 1, but also want to do a game drive on the morning of day 2, you will have... More

I have stayed here a couple of times with my family, great rooms (Rhino is the biggest if you have children...can sleep four adults and a baby), great food, lovely staff and a fabulous bar / firepit area... It is slightly off the beaten track, but not far from the side gate into Lake Nakuru National Park (you need a... More

We stayed 2 nights at this beautiful property hidden in a secluded area of the Soysambu Conservancy in the Rift Valley in September and thoroughly loved the property. On arrival we were welcomed with fruit cocktails and finger biting and then escorted to our African style hut. the 'huts' are spacious and beautifully appointed with large beds, 2 sinks in... More

My wife and I recently stayed for a last-minute 2-day break in August 2011. While our initial plan was to camp as usual, the rains in the preceding week made us consider the cottage option. Based on a verbal quotation which reduced my rate from $245 to $145 and my wife( who is kenyan) at KShs 10,00 we duly decide... More

I stayed 2 nights in July with my family in two adorable huts in this camp. The huts have great beds and bathrooms and are designed with very good taste in a nice mix of African and modern style. It is an extremely quiet place and in the night it is great to hear the animals around. Electricity is on... More

We reached the place from an organized tour with no preliminary ideas on the location. It came to be an amazing experience in all senses. It took unfortunately around 30mins drive on a construction road to the Lake Nakury Reserve. Once the road is finished, that's the best choice: Romantic, service, luxurious, local flavours. Fantastic!! More

The Mbweha Camp also belongs to the antua-enkop group (as Elephant Bedroom, Tipilikwani and Mara Ngenche). We stayed there for 2 nights. It is unfenced and located in the Soysambu Conservancy, about 15 minutes drive to the Nderit Gate to enter Lake Nakuru NP. I must add, that the road from the entry of the Soysambu Conservancy to the gate... More

This camp is owned by the same company which runs Elephant Bedroom in Samburu so we had high expectations coming in for a weekend - and were not at all disappointed. The cottages were lovely (although sound-proofing could be improved a bit) and the central lodge is very relaxing and cozy. The food was superb and the staff bent over... More

We ended up being booked here by a travel agent when the lodges in Lake Nakuru National Park were all full up. We weren't sure what to expect, and were a bit put off by what seemed like a high price. It turned out to be the favourite lodging place for all five of our traveling party during our recent... More

We were a group of 4 (two couples). We enjoyed everything about this place except for 2 things: Pros: Staff, paul the driver/guide, the lounge area (see picture), food, bush dinner, and nice grounds. Cons: 1. The road to the camp (the 20-30kms off the main road) is horrible and takes about 1 hour to drive. This doesn't make it... More
