This modernised hotel in a building dating from at least the early part of the twentieth century is well located, In an alley off a square with numerous hotels, on the edge of the historic city. Comfortable and economical. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Small bar. Takes Visa, or cash (including dollars and euros). Adequate restaurant in the nearby... More

The photos actually put me off this hotel, but I decided to take a chance, based on the good reviews and Lonely Planet. Extremely central location, beautiful building. Basic rooms and minimal service, breakfast was so-so, but what I was expecting for the rate. So please don't be put off by the bad photos. However, remember that most these hotels... More

We had wanted to go to the Amelia hotel, but they were full and we were given a brand new one as a substitute. After one look we decided to go and find something more to our liking, and just around the corner we found the Lyabi House. Its a beautiful old building, with an incredible 19th century dining room... More

When I arrived at this hotel at evening time, the reception staffs were warm and welcoming and immediately checked me in. My clean and air conditioned room with a nice bed was cozy... More

The Lyabi House has an ideal location, just across the street from the beautiful central reservoir, which is surrounded by restaurants. Everything you want to see in Bukhara is within easy walking distance. It was easy to pop back to the room as needed. My room (5) was clean and comfortable and opened onto the inner courtyard where breakfast was... More
