Very nice guesthouse, the owner put a lot of effort into making the smallest detail perfect! Very nice rooms with separate bathroom. Nice pool & magnifiscent garden. The breakfast served is really nice ! Located next to the ancient center of sukothai (2 minutes) with a bike. The only negative thing is that they don't serve any meals in the... More

The setting of the guesthouse is nice, although a bit out of town this was not a problem for us being on the spot with our own vehicle - for which no parking is available. The distance from town could eventually be problematic if you're there with young children. Large room, clean bathroom, beds/mattrasses a bit on the hard side... More

Pros Close to historic park (walking distance without luggage) Very nice little paradise (owner is charming Italian) with swimming pool, garden, nice breakfast, … Standard room: colonial bungalow feel with personal small terrace Very personal treat, and good tourist infos Cons No free internet, WiFi in the bungalow paid per hour Standard room: is small and a bit dark, thin... I made the reservation for this guest house through Booking.com and it came with a 7.9 rating and people said it had a nice pool. I thought my children would definitely enjoy that after bicycling through historic Sukhothai on a hot day. Well I obviously did not read enough into some of the advice given by some previous guests. I... More

First the things that everyone probably can agree on: the grounds are beautiful, the location is great, breakfast is reliably excellent. The third-world plumbing is disconcerting if you aren't accustomed to it -- there's a Western toilet but toilet tissue isn't flushable, for example. Nonetheless it functions, and once I figured out how the water heater worked I had ample... More

We stayed 3 nights but didn't really enjoy it. Our bungalow was very basic and the beds far too hard to sleep comfortably. Half our bungalow was as hot as a sauna and unusable at any time. Since the power goes off when you go out, the fridge warms up and is useless. When it was on it was very... More

My wife and I stayed here again recently, as we have done so often over the last ten years. In our travels around the world this place and the people come right at the top of our favourites. The welcome and friendliness from owners Paulo and Pin always sets us at ease after some of the frustrations of Thai travel.... More

My friend advised me they had a nice pool, so after a long day of biking I made the mistake of riding over there. No sooner had I entered the driveway when the owner came out yelling "who are you? what do you want?" I politely asked if I could use the pool & said I would be happy to... More

A tuk tuk driver spirited us from the bus station to New Sukhothai - a grim spot. Luckily, my daughter had a copy of the Lonely Planet with a listing for the Orchid Hibiscus. It is a compound of cabins really, each with it's own porch overlooking paths inlaid with ceramic flowers, canopied areas with hammocks in which to relax,... More

Well...after reading many a bad review on this little gues thouse, I thought I should share a positive one. What a stark reminder that we are all different and, perghaps, that we are received the way we come? We arrived from New Sukhothai which we did not like for its characterless, noisy, smelly madness in the mid-morning and were welcomed... More
