Pros: - We stayed in room 301 which is Chinese-themed and it was really beautiful, and very original (not tacky). - The staff at the front desk are extremely helpful and friendly and helped with a few minor issues we had. - You can rent bikes cheaply and explore the historical sites that way - we did this and it... We spent 2 nights at this lovely property, which is carefully decorated, professionnally managed and conveniently located only a few minutes away (walking) from the historical park. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful (though maybe a bit slow at times, like when it took them over 45 minutes to bring us a birthday cake...), breakfast is a bit limited... More

This is a quiet, Lanna-style hotel. It is small but well designed. The rooms are nicely decorated - bring some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper, the croaking frogs in the lotus pond might keep you awake otherwise! If you're going to visit the Historical Park, this is a great place to stay. We rented bikes at the hotel... More

Nice little resort hotel. Quiet. We enjoyed our short stay. Close to the Historical Park. We enjoyed the pool but there are not enough loungers. Breakfast: fresh juice, tea or coffee, cereals, milk and yoghurt, jam, butter, slices of white bread and water melon. Not very exciting. Room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Aircon a bit noisy. Old... More

We had the most pleasant stay in Sukhothai thanks to the Tharaburi Resort. The best thing about this resort is how close it is to the Sukhothai Historical Park where you will see the most impressive Buddhas and ruins. The staff is nice and willing to help you have the best stay. It is a small hotel with really nice... More

Up front, the thing I liked the most we their Pad Thai! Hotel is really charming, it feels like in the middle of the jungle, suites are really nice, and overall ambient is what's expected. ideal to rent one of the hotel bikes to go see the temples! More

Says it all. As everywhere in Thailand the people are lovely. Hotel is pretty and in a lovely setting. Cheap and cheerful, good rooms and nice pool, though not enough loungers. Food good at dInner, gin and tonics ok too. Breakfast distinctly underwhelming. Sliced bread toasted and "jelly" type jam that even a poor motorway service station would be embarrassed... More

If you're going to Sukhothai, chances are very good you are going for the historical artifacts, which are well worth seeing. We put in a hard day of bus travel from Chiang Mai to reach this area, and were so thrilled when we saw where, and how we were going to be staying there. "Old" Sukhothai is a little town... More

We stayed for three nights in this hotel, well located next to the Sukhothai Historical Park. The rooms are tastefully designed with thai influences and it has a little tropical garden with a nice swimmingpool. Breakfast is ok, but not much choice and the food in the restaurant was tasty thai. So far so good...but The rooms need a repaint... More

Tharaburi was a beautiful hotel with friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a fantastic bathroom. The location is perfect for renting a bike and riding around the ruins. Although it is a bit pricey for Thailand, the facilities are very nice and mostly worth the money if you like to travel in style.  More
