Old City GH is a really cool place very close to the Historical Sukhothai Park. you can reach it just crossing the road. The place is nice, very well maintained and cleaned. It has differents rooms, we stayed in one with fan and bathroom inside and i have to say that even if the room was large and nice the... More

The Old City Guesthouse has different rooms, we stayed in one with air-con and it was, cheap, clean, big, en suite and though simple we had nothing to complain. The place is nice and safe, extremly convinient as it is 100 metres from entrance to Sukhothai Historical Park, opened at 6 am and I really recommend going there as early... More

Perfect location for seeing the Old City temples. Off-road location makes for quiet nights in large rooms. Air-con was arctic and since we had the room closest to reception, wifi was also very quick. Almost comatose owner was laid-back to say the least and barely woke up to hand us the keys (quite refreshing after hard-sell tactics in other parts... More

This guesthouse is literally a block from the ruins main entrace. Rooms are big, clean, have a TV (no english channel), a table with chairs, aicon works great, bathroom was good with lots of hot water. Some rooms have FREE wifi. we were assigned a room without wifi and we asked to be changed to one closer to reception (better... More

This is located in the old city, just across the street from the ruins and the Buddha's footprint. You can walk to the market, you can walk to the ruins, it's the best location possible. It's also really, really cheap. The rooms are actually well-equipped. You can get a room with air conditioning and with decent wifi connection, plus a... More

Whilst at Sukhothai we just turned up at Orchid Hibiscus Guest House and negotiated a price of 1200 THB per night with the condescending italian. The bungalow was clean and tidy surrounded by exotic wild life, trees and palms that most zoo's would be proud of!! He was unable to provide us with a cycle or entice us to partake... More

Excellent location, clean room for 300 TBH per night with FAN and free WIFI is all you need in November for one night. We managed to visit center and east Wats (temples) by bicycle and checkouted after one night. Nevertheless, we'd stay longer if there were more to see in Sukhothai. More

We got a room for 500 Baht a night for 2 nights, which had air-con, hot water, 2 beds (one double one single) and a TV (no english language channels though). The room was a good size, but a little on the dark side. Very clean and comfortable, and you really can't beat the location. It's right on the doorstep... More

The Old City Guesthouse is situated in Old Sukhothai, quite near the entrance to the temple ruins of Sukhothai - so a very good place to start early in the morning to visit the fantastic ruins right before all the tourists from New Sukhothai in their little aircon busses. It's much better to rent a bike on the corner next... More
