My friend and I stayed fro fire nights at Ko Tao resort in March/April 2012 in the Superior room in the Paradise zone. Firstly, please be aware that there are two sections of this hotel. the Beach zone, on the beach as the name would suggest and the Pardise Zone which is across the road and up a very steep... More

Ko Tao Resort is a lovely hotel, the staff were really friendly and the rooms were lovely. Made up very quickly while we went to breakfast every day! We stayed in the paradise zone, which I believe was the best of the two. The beach zone has alot more facilities, but the hotel supplies a shuttle between the two every... More

Lovely small hotel in lovely Chalok Bay. Chalok is a southern secured bay of Tao, about 5 minutes drive from Mae Haad pier. It's small and quiet but has enough restaurants, massage points and 7-Eleven store. The hotel is good enough to be recommended. It has own small beach and one of the loveliest pools I've ever seen. Don't forget... More

We stayed at the Ko Tao Resort when they first open the 2nd complex up the hill. The décor is classic resort, a bit too cheesy for our taste. The room is nothing special, but the hotel it has amazing view of the two beaches from its hilltop vantage point. The pools (one serpentine, one infinity) also have great views... More

The location is great; a crescent bay with half a dozen hotels and adjacent restaurants, soft white sand and if you swim a bit towards it's southern end, the water gets much clearer and there are some good snorkeling spots. The restaurant location is very nice, right on the beach, and the pool is good too (though why would one... More

I've been staying here since it was Ko Tao Cottages in 2000, and its changed a lot. The place is being steadily upgraded, but in typically Thai fashion - resort doesn't actually mean what it might to you and I. The rooms are very nice, some excellent, but all comfortable and clean. The prices for what you get are extraordinary.... More

Ko Tao Resort offered excellent amenities and premises. We stayed in a two-room family bungalow by the pool, and it worked just great traveling with a small baby. The hotel offers a rather nice infinity-pool, but it is smaller than the pictures on their site let you expect. It is however not lousy in any way, just the opposite, well-kept... More

We stayed at the Koh Tao Resort on Koh Tao island for 5 nights in August 2010 and we traveled as backpackers. We stayed at several hotels during our 3 weeks trip to Tailand and even on Ko Tao (where we stayed for 9 days) we have chanced hotels 3 times, so we were able to compare this hotel to... More

We stayed at the beach bungalows which were quit disappointing. They look big and spacious on their website, but when you get there they're small and you could smell the drain and molt. Too humid I guess. There were no room safes and one of my friends had her necklace stolen by the maids. There are no room safes, so... More

I was at Koh Tao 3 years ago and really shocked by its development in the past 3 years. The island, especially Sairee Beach, is on its way to transform itself from a unique hidden gem to a teeny party island where new apartments are rising everywhere on Koh Tao resulting in very noisy surroundings. Since me and my girlfriend... More
