I stayed in the Nomads "hostel" on the resort. It took 45 minutes to check in and even after that, they all walked away and didn't give me a key and I had to ask where the room was. Finally someone showed me to the dorm and just walked away. When I walked into the room, the 3 girls there... More

Booked two nights through AGODA. Got a 50% discount for a deluxe room, but would have been so disappointed if I paid full price. Room rate highly inflated and not worth the price. Air con is poor, shower old and no power so very low water flow. Nice restaurant and food at reasonable prices and good pool. Would not return... More

I looked up a hostel in Koh Tao and came across and booked the Nomads hostel that I found out later shared the same ground with this hotel. I arrived in Koh Tao at 6am and asked a taxi to drop me off, but nobody had a clue where this place was, and business hour on this island is at... More

The rooms were great and the service always came with a smile. It is located at the end of the beach strip so you are not in the center of the crowds, but also not too far away from them either. I really enjoyed my stay here. The only negative aspect was the scuba facility. If you are an experienced... More

I went to Koh Tao specifically for Scuba. I found the staff unobtrusive and were helpful when needed. I stayed in the new dorm-room style room and found it to be average- newly built and lacking some things like towel racks and shelves, which I was told are on order as the building was newly built. AC worked well and... More

After looking at a number of places on the island we decided to stay here in a what i would call a midrange cottage with a fridge . This review is for the hotel not the dive school. Positives - location - close to central sairee ( 5 min walk on the beach ) without being in the middle of... More

Stayed at the Coral Grand to do some diving and wanted a place that catered to a slightly older crowd than the 20-somethings that dominate the southern end of the beach. The room I booked - ocean front "pirate" bungalow was not available due to construction, so I was "upgraded" to a bigger two-bedroom, two bath suite facing the pool.... More

Great location - the cleanest and most scenic part of the beach. It was quite and relaxing but just 5min walk away from the nightlife. Sailor cottage was good. Definitely paid for location! The only disappointing aspect was the restaurant. Food was less than ordinary and staff were unfriendly. None had a smile for they 5 days we were there.

Stayed in a Captain Suite which was very basic; uncomfortable beds, ancient looking shower with no temperature control, general feeling of uncleanliness - no redeeming features. There's not even a lamp which for children who don't want to sleep in total darkness or reading in bed is really quite annoying. The old grubby fridge was full of water and the... More
