My first visit there was in 1997. I still have the receipts. Koh Nangyuan has been my favorite get away for years. It's changed so much. The boat that comes in at 10:30 is full of day trippers by the hundreds. Crowds and noise, that’s what most leave Koh Samui to get away from. The rooms have been upgraded and... More

I stayed in this resort 2 nights. The resort is situated in a beautiful island, great beach and clear water. But the room is just ordinary, small room. The food is expensive but great Thai taste. And people should be careful when walking on the wood bridge!

It seems that the owner of this resort do everything to get so much money as possible with so less service as possible. Bad management. Do not believe the brochure.

This is the island to be if you like crystal clear seawater, white sandy beaches and the Robinson Crusoe experience. There are 3 lagoons or coves to swim from with colourful and abundant marine life. The corals by the beach are mostly dead but there is an effort to revive them with artificial reefs. Although there's only 1 restaurant, the... More

Our previous stay on this once unspoilt paradise was four years ago. The only boat of tourists was between 10am and 3pm and then after that, guests had the island to themselves. Mats and small tables were put out to enjoy cocktails while the sun was setting, the food was good, the price affordable and the location, perfect. Oh how... More

I guess I should have taken the reviews hereore seriously. I read about the horrible experiences people had, but to experience it first hand was something else. I'll sharer experience here jn hope that no one will have to go through this. Again. The island was recommended to me by the agent claiming it to be Thai's best island!! Judging... More

This is the one place that both my wife and I wish we had spent more time! We stayed in a bungalow right on the beach. We had both A/C and hot water which worked great. Those expecting a luxury resort will be disappointed! What makes this place so special is the amazing scenery, and access to world class dive... More

Arrived after a beautiful trip from Koh Samui, to a rather tacky landing platform from where i got an upstream whiff of the loos; wandered through an eating area before realising that the rather shabby, unwiped tables piled with dirty plates was THE restaurant. Not inviting, as cats and kittens draped themselves on tables and chairs. The receptionist demanded 1000Baht... More

We stayed in october for only 1 night (we were on a trip) and instantly fell in love with the island. It really is paradise! We had airco bungalow with discount, for 1400 baht. Because of the high tide we had too walk through water to get to the bungalow, gave us the real island feeling. Staff was helping with... More

Booked a 3 night stay on the recommendation of a thai travel agent. I asked repeatedly if the accommodation was good and she said yes!!! We paid approx £43. per night for a air conditions bungalow. When we got the island they were on the outskirts of a cyclone, which was ok but made the crossing waters higher and it... More
