We stayed here 4 years ago after travelling around for many years in Thailand and it became our favourite place and i'm happy to say nothing has changed, the crew is still nice as ever, the food again delicious and the atmosphere remained to be absoluty amazing. We feel very much at home here and will go back. I hope... more

I've been coming to Fisherman's Cottage for 8 years and having seen the recent negative review I felt compelled to write a new one of my own. I've been here this time for 2 weeks and brought my Mum and sister along for a family holiday. As usual it has been amazing in every way and none of us want... more

This'll be this place's first review under 4 out of 5, and we're very surprised by this fact. First, the good: 1. The place definitely has a rustic charm 2. The staff was friendly enough 3. Free wifi And now, the bad: 1. The price of 900 Baht we were charged was outrageous for the very rustic cabin we had.... more

Our plan was to stay for 1 week at Fisherman's. But plans were meant to be changed are they not? So we found ourselves there for over 2 weeks, and quite frankly we would still be there except we had some firm dates and obligations on our itinerary that we could not change. Kun and his band of merry men... more

What a great little place. Stayed in #2 for 4 nights. Had the best time relaxing, reading, chilling out and shopping. The staff are the best. Good guys who live to serve you. They also make some of the best food we had in Thailand and for free, let us watch how they made our food. They supplied everything we... more

Stayed there for 3 nights in November in the MantaRay Bungalow. Almost everything is said here so far and I can only confirm everything. Arriving there is kind of arriving home, you feel comfortable and "easy" from second one. I will definitely come back to enjoy the fabulous food, feelgood atmosphere and opportunity to relax. Kun and team: Many thanks... more

This place is a real gem. We stayed for five nights in November and had a wonderful time. Its true that the bungalows are nestled on not one of the better beaches on Ko Lanta as its rocky, bit for a couple of hundred baht and a 10 minute trip on a moped, you can be on one of Ko... more

When myself and my boyfriend arranged to come to Thailand as part of our GAP year travels, this was the kind of thing we expected. The place is on a quiet bend on Klong Khong beach, in the shade of dozens of palms and down a dirt road. This makes it a world of its own. We personally only stayed... more
