A tired and I'll kempt 'resort' whose only worthy feature is a swimming pool. The pictures in the brochure might look nice, but the reality is a disappointment. We stayed here in late October. We payed 400 baht for a bungalow with fan. The place was clean and comfortable. the staff were very helpful. the new pool was very nice also. all in all an enjoyable stay. we will be back here next week when we revisit Koh lanta

Stayed for a week, bungalows plain but clean, bed comfortable. Set in a big garden (used to be a cashew nut orchard). The girls that run Sunny are sweet and their kids are cute, especially Bo. Food good too. Good place for families and couples. 2 mins walk to the beach and 2 mins to Pra Ae Village.

I loved this easy-going place. If you want to be pampered at double the cost, go next door to Lanta Castaway. But if you don't mind a cold shower, Lanta Sunny bungalows offer everything you really need.
