Ive stayed in JC residency for a couple of times and I can say that it is the very right place to stay in kodai. I stayed in JC Residency, Kodaikanal in March 2012. It was a pleasant stay at the hotel with all amenities. I enjoyed the food served for dinner. Staff were polite and helpful. Rooms were clean. Overall I had a comfortable stay at the hotel.

“Good hotel, plesant stay”

We stayed there on July 2011. The hotel was very much affordable, all amenities were good. Hotel staff were very supportive. I really enjoyed there dinner, they served awesome signature south tamil nadu non-veg foods. I would prefer staying there again. Only one little downside of this hotel is, its bit far from kodaikanal lake.

room cleaning should be undertaken every day without waiting for the customer coming back in the evening and making complaint. The electricity switches and the water tap are loose resulting in loss of electricity and water.

Staff are very polite, service is good and food was awesome... taste wise as well as variety was there.Rooms were clean,spacious... overall our visit was enjoyable and comfortable.Rates are somehow high.Surrounding is pleasant but no mountain views are there nearby hotel.Tourists spots are nearby.

Best place to stay in kodai, the rooms are excellent and well furnished. the staff are polite. the food tastes very good,the spread for breakfast and dinner were excellent. proximity to the lake and tourist attractions plus point. made are stay at kodai very enjoyable.

Positive - staff are polite. Got an upgrade as the room allotted was of very poor standard. Negatives- Location. Advert in popular booking site - all rooms air conditioned.
