Terrible hotel to stay. Even after paying 10k to stay, hotel didn't provide hot water. Can you imagine bathing with cold water at 10 degree. rooms are not clean at all, they don't clean room until checkout.

Went with my family for a 3 day trip. The rooms are small. It is an old hotel. Most of the electrical and pipe fittings are old. Water leakage is there in some of the rooms. Heard some of the hotels in Kodaikanal were closed recently by Govt authorities. Hence all other hotels charge very high (3 times their usual rates). There is a restaurant in Sivapriya which is spacious. South Indian food is good. Never take any other food (North Indian on Tandoori). They also have a travel desk for helping in sight seeing which is good.

We stayed in this hotel from 24/11/2019 to 26/11/2019. Hotel is neat and clean. Staff is very cooperative. Restaurant is pure veg and serves very good hygienic food. A ideal hotel for pure vegetarian guests.

We stayed there last week. As many hotels in Kodaikanal are closed by the Government, we did not have a choice but to stay there and it became the worst experience of our whole tour, though we paid the highest per night among all our hotels in the trip (Including a 4* property in Munnar). The "Super Deluxe" rooms are very poorly lit, dark, gloomy and depressing. The flush in the bathroom was not working. The hot water timing is fixed, from 6 AM to 10 AM and from 6 PM to 10 PM. Intercom and WiFi were not working. For kids above 6 years, they charged during check-in and again during check-out saying earlier they charged for "Deluxe" room by mistake, so we had to pay for the "Super Deluxe" charge for the kids without even having any extra bed and pure veg breakfast with very limited option. During breakfast, hotel staffs are standing there to ensure you take as less as possible. From their attitude, it seemed like it would be better if you skip the breakfast. If you forget/misplace the breakfast coupon by any chance, then you can forget about the breakfast. I have never seen a stingy hotel like this. Avoid at any cost, if you have a choice. Only plus point is the location (near Kodai Lake), but there are lot of hotels in the vicinity.

I am writing in order to express my dissatisfaction concerning a terrible experience which I had in this hotel quite recently. Last week my family and I came to this "so called" grand hotel on our summer breaks as usual. Upon arrival, however, I was informed that I will be getting luxury deluxe room that I had booked prior to coming was ran out of water maintenance and other services. To make matter worse, front desk behavior was very rough and full of arrogant ppl. Using slang languages added one more feather in their cap. After several hour of waiting water problem got resolved. But alas the little happiness did not last for a long time. Next night when we came back from local sight seeing, we observed that there is no water in commode. Well when you may start thinking it might be a temp fault but hotel is still a good budget hotel, Friends !! the ultimate problem is their architecture. In the floor corridors you always get gas coming out of kitchen. Staying there with KIDs is VERY UNHYGIENIC. With 5500+ INR per night charge it is a Robbery ! Be careful ...

The rooms are shabby. Absolutely zero maintenance. We were 6 families and stayed there in super deluxe rooms. The rooms are in terrible condition, no water in the washroom. Unfriendly staffs, boring breakfast menu. They charged Rs 5500k for each rooms, and charged extra for kids, but actually the rooms are not even worthy for Rs 500. Worst hotel I have ever stayed.

Its waste of money. We have paid almost 5500 per night but the quality of the room is less than 1500. The room does not have ac/fan/proper ventilation. Rooms are old and lack of maintenance is visible every corner of the hotel. The water system does not work. Even the water is muddy. Overall my mood of Kodaikanal visit got completely spoiled due to this hotel.
