My experience of staying in Hotel Strawberry Park was far from satisfactory. Although the rooms were ok but there is no proper arrangement for hot water in the hotel. The service level is also below par. You need to call for same requirement again & again. Overall below average.

We looked at 3 rooms in this place and all were filthy with unwashed, musty sheets and pillows. The room with a view had windows so filthy you could barely see daylight through them. We were set on staying here but luckily hadn't paid a deposit on booking so were able to leave. Many better places in town.

I stayed in this hotel in Apr 2010. which is season for kodaikanal visit. we checked many hotels , comaparatively this is good when we see about facilities and this is econamical.

Why this place is listed in the Lonely Planet is a mystery to me. It is the worst hotel I have everhad the mispleasure to set foot in.
