We stayed three nightshere after getting a train from Udaipur to Bundi. It's in the main city sights to be peaceful, but handy to reach the centre and train station. The staff was wonderful and friendly and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Secondly, the courtyard garden was amazing. The hotel is located very near to all attraction, everything you... On arrival the reception had a number of dogs and a receptionist sleeping behind the desk. We were impressed with the size of the suite but then I asked about the TV, the fridge and tea an coffee advertised on their website. Then I found half the lights didn't work, the shower didn't work and at 4700ruppees per night excluding... More

On a positive note, the staff are very helpful, it's a beautiful building and you can't beat the location. Located just beside the lake as you enter town, you will be guaranteed to find your way back easily. I liked the big bathroom and everything is spotless. Sadly, this place is lacking atmosphere. My room was large, didn't have a... More

Good straightforward hotel, with a well restored exterior and interior. Rooms simple and clean, and good restaurant. Nice rooftop area.Very helpful staff, and good location so you can walk to the fort and wander around the town, which it itself is fascinating as it feels part of the 'real' Rajasthan.

I was really looking forward to stay in Bundi, but I can honestly say it was the most disappointing place we stayed at during our 4 week trip. The town is a provincial little place with some hardcore fanatic backward thinking muslims, they dont really give the impression they like strangers/tourist in their town, wich makes you feel a bit... Its well sited, within easy walking distance of the palace/fort. Room was fine, albeit with thin curtains. Electricity off in the morning, exactly as we were told it would be. Hot water, nice shower etc. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Actually all very pleasant. Breakfast was fine. Evening meal was the worst we ate in Rajasthan, everything tasted the... More

We visited Bundi late January of 2012 as part of a pre-trip that my sister and I planned by ourselves before meeting up with a tour group to see the Golden Triangle and other larger cities. Since the tour group was hitting all tourist areas, we wanted to experience what life was like in a smaller town. Bundi met our... More

When planning to visit a relatively out-of-the -way town like Bundi, you do it on the basis that hotel standards are unlikely to reach the peaks of thos ein larger more travelled locations. Nevertheless our first glance at this hotel said to us that we should no be here. From tacky reception to derisory lounge to a restaurant that consisted... More

Nice renovated haveli, off the main road. Clean, spacious room, with a/c. The night curtains are so thin that they are useless against morning day light. You should not be bothered by the road traffic - but rather by the other guests in the common areas or in the room next door. Unlike previously mentionned by other guests, no particular... More

Pros - Location, price, staff were extremely friendly, rooms were basic but decorated nicely in traditional Indian style Cons - there was free wifi but not in the bedrooms, you had to go to reception, no tv in rooms, rooms were cold, food from the restaurant was not good. Tomato soup was the worst I ever ate. It tasted like... More
