Didnt like the look of hotels in Agra so booked here. About 50k out of Agra towards Jaipur and hard to find but well worth it. Approach is up a dirt road into a very poor run down small village but the property is simply beautiful and totally secluded from the surrounding village (which makes a very interesting visit). It... Typical, restored private haveli situated in a small village approx. 25 km from Bharatpur. Simple but spacious rooms. Pretty courtyards. Warm welcome. Good restaurant (buffet).

This palace hotel is in a village called Perharsar near Bharatpur. Our travel agent suggested we might "explore the village" on arrival, but this is not really an enticing prospect.
